When I first decided to upgrade my kayak I had no idea it would lead me through some wonderful yet challenging projects. I built the Night Heron in 2014, taking some photos along the way. But certainly no other documenting of the build. When I started the African Queen 18, “blogging” about the process as it went turned out to be fun. Apparently, people were interested in that sort of thing. Writing about the Great Auk 14 build also turned out to be be fun and of interest.
So I’m returning to 2014 to re-live building the Night Heron. There will be fewer pictures so that means I’ll probably ramble a little more. I’ll try to do a post every week or so. The dates will be current not 2014-15.
