That’s a bit cheeky

Setting and attaching the cheek plates was a bit tricky. I needed to makes sure that both stayed perpendicular so each were even. It would be no good or fun to have one plate cockeyed and digging into said cheek.

I started by placing a board across the cockpit opening. Keep in mind that you are looking at the underside of the deck.
Looks straight to me.
I tack glued them in place with super glue then used epoxy. The tape is to keep the plates from falling over until the super glue took hold.
All perfect
Looks good, I think
