Where do I start?

Posted on December 17, 2018January 4, 2023 by David

If you haven’t read it yet, please read the back story about The Tandem. It  will explain a lot.

This is what it looked like after it thawed out.  This one was rough. duct tape to re-enforce the holes of the knee bracing. The ropes had been retied several times. It was clear that these were field repairs meant to keep the boat in service.

It did have the hatch

The seats were beat up and weathered pretty bad. Only one had a pad.

The hull was beat up and scratched. Some gouges were very deep.

And there was this repair, done with the plastic from a Tide bottle. It’s the right type of plastic apparently.

We’ll see how this goes.
